VERDICT: Bizarrely below-par at Le Mont-Saint-Michel after having run 2nd over course and distance mid-August, Katko Des Caillons (17) is ideally-engaged here, and reunited with Benjamin Rochard who will be expected to put things right. The young talent will still be keeping an eye on Kayak Gema (16) who is plainly close to his race, and the returning Knowledge De Jema (6) who goes barefoot for the first time. Krac Roussetiere (11) steps up in category after opening his account mid-September and will have his chances.
