VERDICT: Three Platoon was a comfortable winner over C&D last Tuesday and although respected under a 5lb penalty, it is Violeta that shades preference. Ben Haslam's filly made it 22nd time lucky over track and trick a fortnight ago, but she remains competitively handicapped and could go in again following that confidence boosting triumph. Volenti hit the frame last time out and a similar level of performance can see him make his presence felt.
