VERDICT: Maktava (6) ran a solid race at Parislongchamp in the middle of September when he was second-beaten narrowly. He can make amends and score on a surface he likes. Coeur De Roume (10) could be the one who gives the selection the most to think about. He is relatively lightly raced and should have a good bit more to come. Bremontier (3) looks like a good option for the each-way backers to latch on to. The Chosen One (1) has dropped to a fair mark and could be dangerous.
