VERDICT: Things did not go too well for Ninepoints Lasse (6) last time at Vincennes but he is a smart trotter and can be given another chance. Colbert Wf (3) blows hot and cold but he runs unshod for the first time and can spring a surprise. A sound winner over this course and distance at the end of February, Gonnabe Shadow (7) can also be given consideration. Caligola Laser (13) did run a good race despite the early sanction at Cherbourg and cannot be dismissed lightly.
