VERDICT: Merisi Diamond showed a likeable attitude when scoring over an extended 7f at Roscommon earlier this month and he merits respect in a bid to follow up, although more will be required off a 9lb higher mark. With that in mind, Mehman gets the tentative vote. Gerard O'Leary's charge looked tapped for toe at a crucial stage before running on well to finish fourth over 6f at Navan when last seen and, eased 1lb since and tackling 7f for the first time, this may be the day to catch him. Chicago Fireball and Genuine Article are a couple of others to consider in a wide-open finale.
