VERDICT: Shamador showed plenty of ability when finding only a progressive rival too good on his racecourse debut over 7f at Newcastle and, with significant improvement likely, he should take some stopping. Archie Watson's horses are in good form and this son of Shaman can continue that recent run. A win appears just around the corner for Metro Dubai, who ran well when second over 7f at Wolverhampton latest, while Mandana also warrants respect.
