VERDICT: Artic Lane is worth another chance after being a beaten favourite in fourth at Kilbeggan. That was his first run for almost nine months after a very solid runner-up berth in a Leopardstown bumper over Christmas. A stack of winners have come out of that Leopardstown race and he could be the next one. John McConnell's Mahler gelding Ira Hayes is certainly one to monitor in the market ahead of his debut. There was merit in Victor Sweet's third place on debut at Bellewstown, while Champagne Kid, Quint Major and Westernersunrise all have chances of a cheque.
