VERDICT: Instant Gambler was a shock winner, judged on his odds, in this grade over C&D earlier in the month, but there didn't seem to be any fluke about the manner of that victory. Alexandra Dunn's eight-year-old was returning from a long absence on that occasion so he might take a step forward to defy his 7lb rise. Coconut Twist has made the frame at this level on each of his last two starts and should go well again, while Getupearly can fight it out for the minor honours.
