ANALYSIS: Took keen hold, led, headed before 4th, dropped to last before 6th, tailed off before 8th, pulled up 3 out
VERDICT: Prince Imperial and Huelgoat both come into this contest off the back of impressive victories, but slight preference is for the former after his 23-length success over 2m3f here. The son of Frankel is a classy performer, currently rated 87 on the Flat, and he looks well placed to follow up. As for the latter, he has to be considered after justifying favouritism at Stratford last month and is the obvious threat. Hauraki Gulf looks best of the rest.
