VERDICT: Jez Bomb accounted for his nearest rival by half a length in this grade at Wolverhampton last time and he should mount a bold bid to complete the double. However, the vote goes to Dr Rio, who took the silver medal home over track and trip last month and he is only 2lb higher for that neck defeat. Declan Carroll's eight-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. Etretat is another to note.
