VERDICT: Having scored over 1m2f at Lingfield earlier this month, the progressive Newfangled warrants respect. However, the combination of a 5lb higher rating and drop in distance may prove his undoing, with last-time-out C&D winner Cuban Harry taken to complete a double. Ed Dunlop's gelding capitalised off a career-low mark that day and a 4lb rise looks workable. Bay Of Australia and Offiah's Boy have the form to feature as well.
