VERDICT: Jean-Michel Baudouin wouldn't have made the arduous trip to La Capelle to take up this engagement with Icone Madrik (11) if he didn't think his charge had legitimate winning aspirations and the booking of Eric raffin in the sulky bodes well for her chances. Gipsy De Chamant (12) is a regular in the Quinte+ category and has sound form references/credentials. She'll be up for challenge and should play a leading role. Gloire Du Perche (10) has undeniable means and her ecent form isn't a true reflection of her ability. However, with Franck Ouvrie at the helm for the first time, she is best kept onside. Front-row starters Isla Mujeres (1) and Hollywood Night (5) are consistent mares with the form and experience to stake a claim.
