    5 1/2 L
ANALYSIS: Pulled hard and hung right throughout, pressed leader, led over 3f out, hung badly right and headed over 1f out, soon hung left and hampered rival, weakened quickly
VERDICT: Showhound responded well to the application of cheekpieces (retained) when finishing an excellent third over 6f at Chester recently, and he must enter calculations off an unchanged mark. However, Gundogan is narrowly preferred . Ed Bethell's charge fairly bolted up in first-time blinkers (retained) on his penultimate start over 6f at Carlisle, before shaping like he was still in good nick when faring best of those held up off the pace in a Leicester handicap most recently. A 3lb rise for a recent C&D success doesn't discount Game Breaker either.
