VERDICT: Belgarum could hardly have been more impressive when bolting up over an extended 2m5f at Fontwell last month. Joe Tizzard's gelding isn't fully exposed over the larger obstacles, so a 10lb hike looks manageable. Invictus De Brion finished well behind in third that day, but is 11lb better off now and first-time cheekpieces could spark some improvement. Almost Gotaway is also noted.
