VERDICT: A four-time winner in France, Jordans catches the eye on his debut for Joseph O'Brien. Runner-up over fences at Pau in January, the five-year-old has the potential to make up into a decent novice in the coming months. It is surely significant that JJ Slevin has elected to ride the son of Coastal Path rather than stablemate San Salvador. The latter, who won his maiden hurdle at this venue, would have been just about the best of these over flights. Although yet to reach those heights in four starts over fences, he has shaped well on a couple of occasions. Gua Du Large, a novice chase winner at Tramore on his penultimate start, has plenty of experience over fences. It would be no surprise to see the eight-year-old play a leading role.
