VERDICT: Powerdress bounced back to form when accounting for her nearest rival by half a length at Kempton last time and provided she can transfer that form to turf, she ought to go close. However, Midnight Affair looks the way to go. Richard Fahey's three-year-old made the frame in a deeper event than this at Thirsk earlier in the month and she was kindly dropped 1lb for that display. If she can run to a similar level, she could prove very hard to beat. Last-time-out winner Nariko is another to note.
