VERDICT: Royal Duke hasn't cut much ice in handicaps recently, but his recent runner-up effort in a Musselburgh novice over 5f was an eye-catching display. Though this mark has proved beyond him in the past, he looks to have turned a corner and gets the vote to score now returning to handicap company. Kyber Crystal has been busy lately and, after shaping like she was still in form when third at Musselburgh last week, she can emerge as the main danger to the selection. Jack Of Clubs is also respected off 2lb higher than his last winning mark.
