VERDICT: Balon D'or has to be of interest following his victory here three weeks ago and his rider's claim largely negates a 4lb rise. That said, preference is for South Parade, who has made the frame on both starts since winning at Thirsk last month and the progressive three-year-old may have more to offer. Smooth Silesie has won three of her last four starts and is another with strong form claims.
