VERDICT: Capricious she may be but when focused Jarka De Beylev (14) is a tough individual and has a good opportunity to finally get that maiden monkey off her back. She will still meet resistance from the hardy and reconfigured Joie De Vivre (10) who has taken to the monte code like a duck to water, and the nicely-entered Java Des Champs (17) who takes her first competitive monte steps with the useful Victor Saussaye on board. Jiskaya De Grez (6) encouraged with a fine run at Cabourg last time and, with form maintained, can again figure prominently.
