VERDICT: Having shown sufficient talent under harness, King De Mahey (7) takes his opening public steps in the monte code and, freshly-configured with Benjamin Rochard on board, can impose at the first time of asking. Kel Charme Fou (8) on the other hand, has solid references to fall back on and, in current condition, is not incapable of losing his maiden tag. King Haufor (17) made a respectable ridden debut mid-August and should have a better chance this time. Kent Soyer (16) has frequently gone close this year under harness and switches codes with a realistic chance of finishing in the frame.
