VERDICT: Having posted several creditable efforts in defeat this season, just reward could be headed in Colonel Lesley's direction. A 2lb rise for last month's close-up second at this venue looks more than fair and he edges the vote over Karannelle, who was behind in third that day. David Rees' mare has subsequently finished third over C&D and a return to quicker ground conditions will suit. Juggernaut is also worth consideration now dropping in trip.
