VERDICT: Foster Wood (16) is at the top of his game and found only Galba Ringeat too good when 2nd in his hat-trick bid at Cagnes on 24 August. Back on a right-handed track and ideally engaged at the earnings limit, he sets a good standard and is the horse to beat. Ideally positioned on the front row from the start, Eole Du Prieure (8) could make life difficult for the selection, having been carefully prepared for this engagement. Both last-start winner Ghostbuster (15) and hard-knocking Hydromel (7) are likely to acquit themselves competitively and have legitimate podium aspirations. Houston Pajelo (2), Florine De Viette (13) and Easton Of My Life (14) complete the shortlist.
