VERDICT: Emperor Caradoc has been a model of consistency since returning to sprint distances in recent months, with his latest fourth at Beverley the first time in six outings that he hadn't finished in the top two positions. The five-year-old shaped on that occasion as though stepping back up to 6f would be worth another try and he gets the vote to prove too strong for his rivals. Golden Duke has to be a threat off the same mark as his third at Redcar last time, while Fiscal Policy and Flash The Dash are others capable of a decent showing.
