VERDICT: Catalyse scored with the minimum of fuss over 6f at Hamilton on debut before finishing mid-division in the Coventry at Royal Ascot. Jorge Alvares was doing his best work late on when finishing fourth in a valuable sales race at York last month and might be the main danger to the selection now upped in trip.
