VERDICT: It might be worth taking a chance on Ochocinco in this open affair. The lightly-raced six-year-old was successful on debut at Down Royal last year and showed promise on his debut over fences at Kilbeggan in June. Entitled to come on plenty for that experience, he should be able to make an impact in a contest of this quality. Gordon Elliott saddles both The Friday Man and Shajak. While disappointing of late, the former is a five-time winner and might be able to bounce back here on his return to Elliott after a stint with Moses McCabe. A step up in trip could prove ideal for the Willie Mullins-trained Iris Emery and she warrants the utmost respect with Paul Townend aboard. The returning Iriskana, chasing debutant Bigira and Edward O'Grady's Ceroc are others to consider.
