VERDICT: Brideswell Lad may be worth siding with here on his return to action off an attractive hurdles mark. The Shirocco gelding is a better horse over fences but has to be of interest reverting to the smaller obstacles off a 35lb lower rating. This trip is probably a bit short but the 144-rated chaser has a touch of class against these rivals. Mountain Port sprang a shock in a maiden hurdle here last month. He has to be respected but a mark of 116 looks tough enough. There are a few other previous course and distance winners in the field and Inchiquin Star could be place material.
