VERDICT: Beshtani was far from disgraced in the Summer Mile at Ascot in July and he is feared along with Imperial Quarter, who was able to reach the frame in the Atalanta over C&D last time out. Having contested the Irish Guineas before running in the Coronation next time, Skellet found just one too strong in a Group 3 at Chantilly in July. Ralph Beckett's filly remains open to improvement and, in receipt of weight all round, she looks set to throw down a stern challenge. Checkandchallenge is no back number either.
