VERDICT: Having opened his account over hurdles in emphatic fashion at Downpatrick last month, Intense Approach looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to follow up. The five-year-old is rated 13lb higher than chief rival Kandor, who is heading in the right direction after his first career victory at Perth in July. Lucinda Russell's gelding is feared most, although it will be interesting to see how stable debutant Top Man Tom fares in the betting.
