VERDICT: In his element in the amateur category, and winner of his last 5 at this level, Happy Hero (14) has not pulled the best of draws but he excels with his driver of the day and should garner the lion's share of support. They will be opposed though by the reconfigured front-line-starter Hope You Can (6) who is clearly close to his race. Harpie De Jed (13) reassured at Les Sables-d'Olonne last time out and, in this category, can defy the draw and challenge for the win. Hemilio Pierji (11) briefly lost his way but is clearly back in business and, although no fan of Caen, his form is hard to ignore.
