VERDICT: Our Noble Lord was having only his second start of the year when third in a classified stakes race at Ayr last month. That form looks better in hindsight given the winner has subsequently landed a hat-trick and Lucinda Russell looks to have found him a good opportunity to open his account. Wheres The Crumpet has been in decent form over a mile and returns to this longer trip with a shout, while both Pearly Star and Busby have won off a higher marks in the past.
