VERDICT: Mon Etoile improved for the step up to this trip at Musselburgh on Saturday. Beaten only a neck on that occasion, the three-year-old can finally open her account with more to come over the distance. Sycamore Gap is another looking for a first win, but that won't be long in coming judged on recent placed efforts, while Bond Spirit showed a bit more at Bath recently and has winning form on the Tapeta.
