VERDICT: Darkzideofthemoon lost little in defeat when runner-up behind a subsequent winner over C&D in June and a breakthrough victory could be imminent. A 1lb nudge up in the ratings looks negligible for the four-year-old and first-time cheekpieces are a welcome addition. The biggest threat may emerge from Seraphic, who arrives on the back of a close-up third at Windsor. Budding is also reverting to the all-weather having posted a solid second at Ffos Las last month and she may have a say as well.
