VERDICT: Platina Princess and Cape Lights are capable hard-knockers but they concede weight to their male opposition. Max The Magician won a similar contest over 1400m on the Standside track last month but re-opposing Bob's Your Uncle, Brave Viking and Warhawk Bomber are all better off at the weights. King's Ransom wasn't seen to best effect over 1600m last time but shouldn't be written off reverting to this distance over which he is unbeaten in 2 starts.
