VERDICT: Phoenix Moon was allowed to race on the front end when winning over course and distance last month after pulling too hard most of this season. If she is finally learning to settle, an added 3lb from the handicapper may not stop her following up. Shamardia is another C&D winner after getting up late to score by a neck earlier in the month and she can also go well, leaving Katie G to fill the final placing.
