VERDICT: Quite the race in prospect, with a number in contention, and the fillies appear to have the edge. Winner of the Gr.1 Prix d'Essai on her last monte appearance, Lexie De Banville (9) has one race in her since the spell and, front pads fitted for the occasion, again looks a marginally better choice than the ever-performant Little Orelie (8) who has not been seen out since running 3rd to her in June. A Gr.2 winner over course and distance, and 4th in the Prix d'Essai, Lucky Sibey (7) has had his freshener, is shod to preference and, reunited with Eric Raffin, will be no soft touch.
