VERDICT: Valvano has been gelded since chasing home 2000 Guineas hero Notable Speech at Kempton in April and the step up to 1m2f, combined with some cut in the ground, is likely to see him prove too good for these rivals. Military Academy's debut success at Hamilton was boosted with the runner-up landing a valuable handicap at Ascot last weekend and he remains a colt with plenty of potential.
