VERDICT: Howzak posted a solid third over 6f at Chepstow last time out, but a return to 5f may leave him vulnerable to speedier rivals on his stable bow for Liam Bailey. With that in mind, it could be worth taking a chance on Exceed. The four-year-old was far from disgraced when fifth in a 14-runner affair over C&D recently and the application of first-time cheekpieces should help. Holbache could also have a say reverting to the all-weather.
