VERDICT: Marlay Park was a short-head second over C&D two starts ago and was only beaten a couple of lengths when fifth over the same track and trip subsequently. With that in mind, the six-year-old just gets the vote to repeat his victory of 12 months ago. Red Mirage returned to form when third at Chester and could prove to be the main threat to the selection. King Cabo edges out Larado and Roscioli to be best of the rest.
