VERDICT: Al Waseela was just touched off at Chelmsford last month and she enters calculations back on the grass, while Lolapalooza showed plenty more at Nottingham three weeks ago and is interesting now pitched into nurseries. However, the vote goes to Liricist. Tony Newcombe's filly was 13lb out of the handicap when winning at odds of 66/1 recently and he must shoulder a penalty today. There was no fluke about that performance, though, and he could repeat the dose.
