VERDICT: Saint Riquier won under Joe Leavy over 1m4f at Lingfield recently and he merits respect from a 3lb higher mark. However, a drop in trip might not be his ideal scenario and, with that in mind, preference is for Fougere. The daughter of Bated Breath was narrowly denied in an apprentices' handicap at Yarmouth last time out when attempting to follow up her earlier success at Nottingham and, now that Ethan Jones can claim 5lb aboard the filly, she can go one better. Fillyfudge heads the remainder.
