VERDICT: Torrent and Final Entry both have penalties after making winning starts over hurdles and, while the former wasn't disgraced when second under similar circumstances at Cartmel last month, the latter shades preference given his scope to develop in this discipline. Having cost 180,000 euros as yearling, the selection was snapped up by these connections for just 28,000gns prior to his winning hurdling debut here in July, and there should be more to come.
