VERDICT: Triple C&D winner Otago is likely to prove popular having finished a close-up second over track and trip at the start of this month. Jim Boyle's inmate makes plenty of appeal off an unchanged mark and compensation could be on the cards. Big Bard must be noted in his current mood but the 7f trip on more testing conditions may stretch his stamina. A bigger threat may emerge from On Song, who should enjoy a return to his last winning distance.
