VERDICT: A small field but we do see the presence of a quality sprinter in Cruise Control and some in-form rivals to take him on. Cruise Control was not disgraced in KZN earlier this year and can bounce back to beat these rivals. Jockey Louie Mxothwa has a very good record when aboard this gelding. Speed Machine loves a soft track and could be a threat if conditions like that happen. Evies First has beaten Cruise Control and deserves some respect. Teatro was an easy winner last time he raced on the turf. Blue Holly has made the trip from the Western Cape so deserves consideration.
