VERDICT: It's hard to get away from Betsen judged on ratings alone in this contest. The three-year-old is 16lb superior than his closest rival Mint Man and looks to have been found a golden opportunity to shed his maiden tag. Ukiyo ran better than her odds suggested she would when seventh on debut at the Curragh and she could improve to get closer, while any market support for newcomer Shelbourne Flyer would be interesting.
