VERDICT: Bernard Spierpoint has been a revelation since rejoining the Darryll Holland yard and completed a quickfire hat-trick at Brighton last weekend. A double penalty is unlikely to prevent another bold bid, but My Genghis may gain his revenge on this return to handicap company. If taking Jack Doughty's 5lb claim into account, the five-year-old is effectively 19lb better off with Bernard Spierpoint for just under five lengths when fifth at Wolverhampton last month. Fircombe Hall is also noted.
