VERDICT: Marmaduke Lemon has shown more than enough in handicaps to suggest he could exploit an ease in class, while first-time cheekpieces might elicit some improvement from Kaolinite, who has displayed a similar level of form this campaign. Preference, though, is for Dark Venture. Charlie Hills' charge shaped with promise amidst greenness on his debut at Southwell in March and although the layoff must be a slight cause for concern, natural improvement will see him go close.
