VERDICT: Aafoor has progressed with each run since his return from a 100-day break in July and finished behind a nice type in Mount Teide last time. The son of Qurbaan has to be respected, but he could come out second best to Faro Di Notte, who made a pleasing start in handicap company to fill the runner-up spot at Goodwood last month. Marcus Tregoning's three-year-old is only 1lb higher for that and should go well. Gloucestershire and Monkey Island are others to consider.
