VERDICT: Fianna showed promise on debut last month and while she drops in distance, should progress and a drier surface will suit. A half-sister to three winners, she was claimer-ridden at Roscommon and while well enough held, there were some useful formlines in that race. Next Trick, a half-sister to Group 1 Prix de Royallieu winner Sea Silk Road, has some form at this level but while reasonably dependable, is vulnerable to progressive types. Improvista was reported to be clinically abnormal when weakening rapidly in June and reappears in first-time cheekpieces. My Goodness, out of an unraced half-sister to two Group 1 winners, makes a belated debut.
