VERDICT: In what looks a closely-matched field, Mecca's Symphony could go well after a running-on third over this trip at Thirsk, and we may see a much better performance when she learns to settle. Horus is narrowly preferred after his Catterick fourth and as a son of Expert Eye, the seventh furlong may bring the improvement needed. Stan Moore's Thiscouldbefun looks attractively weighted with Joe Leavy's 5lb claim and she is also considered.
