VERDICT: A small field where the form on offer suggests that Sir Palamedes can go well with Kieran Shoemark in the saddle. Well beaten at huge odds last time out over five furlongs, that effort came in the Super Sprint at Newbury and he may be better judged on his short-head second at York over this trip in July when there was cut in the ground. A similar performance may see him get the better of Nottingham third Kokabah, with newcomers Seven Symphonies and Apache Green worthy of a market watch.
